Telida Village Council developed a series of environmental health brochures under a grant provided by the EPA’s Indian General Assistance Program, that contributes towards tribal members keeping healthy and the environment clean for future generations, fulfilling IGAP’s objective of reducing risk to human health and the environment.


Environmental Issues in Rural Alaska Housing – A brief summary of conditions in rural housing which contribute to major health problems, such as, wood smoke, mold and radon, and gives some possible solutions.



Drinking Water And Sanitation In Rural Alaska – 
Offers ways to prevent disease by insuring a contaminant and germ-free water supply and adequate waste disposal.



Water Quality – 
Water quality measures the condition of the water and compares it to the needs of animals, fish, plants and
